Payments
When you book with us, the full cost of your stay will be charged to your card at the time of booking.
Please rememeber to use coupon code at check out to avail of 10% discount. Coupon Code "AVALON"

Changing or Cancelling Your Booking

Free Cancellation: You can cancel your booking free of charge (minus any transaction fees) up to 7 days before your arrival date.

Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, the full booking amount will be charged.

Refunds: We process refunds within 5-10 working days. Please note that it might take longer for the funds to appear in your bank account, depending on your bank's processing times.

No-Shows: If you don't check in on your scheduled arrival date without letting us know beforehand, the full booking amount will have been charged, and your reservation will be cancelled.

Early Departures: Should you leave earlier than planned, unused nights are non-refundable.

Date Changes: Modifying your booking dates is subject to availability. You'll need to make these changes yourself through your booking confirmation.

Special Policies for Larger Bookings (2+ Rooms)
For bookings of 2 or more rooms, different booking and cancellation policies might apply. We'll let you know the specific terms for your group shortly after you make your booking. We also reserve the right to cancel any larger booking if we believe it's not in the best interest of our property owners/operators and our other guests.
Unexpected Circumstances
We strongly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. This can help cover unforeseen events like flight cancellations or illness, as we cannot be held responsible for such possibilities.
Important Guest Information

Security Deposit & ID: At check-in, we may ask for a €300 security deposit and/or a recognised form of identification. This deposit will be fully refunded once everything is left as it was on arrival, with no damage or disturbance caused.

Alcohol Policy: For insurance reasons, alcohol cannot be consumed within our guesthouse, garden, or any surrounding areas.

Property Suitability: Our Bed and Breakfast has steps into the house and stairs leading to the bedrooms.

Pets: Unfortunately, we do not accept pets.
General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
Booking Terms
These booking terms form an agreement between you ("You"/"Your") and our guesthouse ("We"/"Us"/"Our"), as named in your booking confirmation. They cover the accommodation services we provide and are governed by Irish law. By making a booking, you accept and agree to these terms.
When you pay by card, our name (or our parent company/trading name) will appear as the merchant on your statement. Your booking is confirmed, and a contract begins, once we accept your reservation. We accept your reservation when we've confirmed it and received: (i) full payment; (ii) a deposit for the first night; (iii) any other specified amount; or (iv) an agreement to collect payment before arrival.
If you pay a deposit that's less than the total stay value, the remaining balance will be charged to your card anytime within the 7-day cancellation period up to your arrival day. If we can't collect this or any other payment, your booking will be cancelled by our system and considered void. It's your responsibility to ensure your cards are valid and have sufficient funds. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to make a booking. All bookings must be paid for using a valid credit/debit card or other specified payment method. Once confirmed, you'll receive a reservation number – please keep this handy for any cancellations or amendments.
Prices
All prices include VAT (where applicable at the current rate) and are per room, per night. They don't cover any extra costs you might incur during your stay (unless stated otherwise). Quoted prices are correct (barring a pricing error) only for the specific number of guests, dates, nights, and rooms shown. In the rare event we can't accommodate your booking, we'll offer alternative accommodation. If there's a price difference, you'll be responsible for any increase; if it's less, we'll refund you the difference. Your check-in and check-out times are specified on your booking confirmation.
Cancellations & Amendments
If you cancel your booking by the Cancellation Deadline (as per your booking confirmation), you'll receive a full refund, including any extras paid, minus any applicable booking fees. If you cancel after this deadline, you'll be charged the full value of your booking, including any extras. Changes to guest numbers, dates, room nights, or room types ("Amendment") may alter prices. If you request an Amendment and we can't accommodate it, your booking will be cancelled and fully refunded, provided this happens by the Cancellation Deadline; otherwise, our standard cancellation terms apply.
Payments
The total amount needed to confirm your booking is shown in your booking confirmation and will be charged to your credit/debit card (or other accepted payment type) at the time of booking or before your arrival. Our name (or our parent company/trading name) will appear on your card statement. Any additional goods or services bought during your stay must be paid directly to us in full.
Liability
Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the booking price. We are not responsible for any indirect or special damages. We won't be liable if we can't provide services due to factors beyond our reasonable control. We are not responsible for your vehicles or their contents parked at or near our guesthouse; please ensure valuables and luggage are hidden and secured. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to our property by your actions, omissions, default, or neglect, and you agree to pay us on demand for any necessary repairs or remedies. Furthermore, we can immediately end your booking without refund or compensation if you engage in unacceptable behaviour that disturbs other guests.
