Great Stay in Galway
We got switched across the street last minute but it was lovely. Good breakfast. Gracious host. Nice private room, excellent water pressure/ showers!
Very enjoyable
Excellent location to Galway city centre. Quiet room, very clean and comfortable , lovely host, nice continental breakfast, tea coffee available during the day. Parking available.
Great value great location
Good price great location to walk around shops restaurants pubs ect. Also owner sent pin to enter property as they weren’t in at our arrival & left key in our door. Afternoon tea provided aswell. Good selection for breakfast & plenty of it.
Simple, friendly and comfortable stay in the heart of Galway
Host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming! Made us feel very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a two night stay (toiletries etc). Great location, quiet area, walking distance from centre. Easy to access property at all times. Had outdoor seating in garden and had access to boiling water for tea coffee etc (with biscuits) all day long!
The room is comfortable and clean. Great buffet breakfast. The house located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the main tourist spot. Hot water running fine. The host is kind and friendly. Great overall experience!
I can't not say enough about the proprietor, his family, and every person who diligently and deftly clean and prepare the breakfast area for their guests. A perfect location next to Yeats College and minutes from downtown Galway - EYRE SQUARE. When you are traveling through the area, stop in and have true Irish hospitality at its finest.
Avalon House was a great choice. Breakfast was great as it included a variety of foods. They even sent me away with hard boiled eggs as I was running late to catch the train. The staff were outgoing in asking if we needed fresh towels and called taxis for us. Very cozy and homey. Short walk to main area of Galway.
Rory is great Nice room.. Central. Intercontinental ballistic breakfast with boiled eggs..Wonderful press with all you need..Pancakes!!!
